Tiger Temple or Wat Pa Luangta Bua Yannasampanno Located in Tambon Singh, about 45 km. away from the city. The temple is well known by many reports of Western and Thai media for its “Wildlife Rescue Project” Due to the abundance of illegal hunting and wildlife trading, several hunters are taking the wild animals from the jungle to be kept as pets. To resolve this problem, the monks have rescued and treated these animals by building this temple. Unfortunately, most of them are not fit to be sent back to the jungle because they have lost their wild instinct. The animals that are not fit to live in the jungle are now living in this temple peacefully for the rest of their lives in the area 438 rai of a jungle and natur.
